Following a 25-year career in financial services, Susan Freeman retired on May 31st, 2024.

Susan began her journey with Twentieth Century Investments (now American Century) in 1991 through 2002, retiring as Director of Investment Technology Services.  She received corporate wide recognition for leadership, financial success and working with honor and integrity.  Her achievements high level engagement in Y2K planning and 9/11 business recovery efforts.

Following a 9-year stint as a small business owner in private aviation services, Susan joined Tom Freeman’s team at UBS Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in 2011, quickly acquiring the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations and Insurance licensing requirements.  She went on to complete a Financial Planning Certificate Program at the College for Financial Planning in 2012, followed by Certified Financial Planner® certification in 2014.

Susan then accompanied her team members in the exciting launch of FCS Private Wealth Management in June of 2020.  Susan grew her practice by working closely with her clients to truly understand the purpose of their wealth and to plan for all of life’s transitions.  She counts the opportunity to mentor the younger advisors as one of the most satisfying elements of her role.

Susan’s plans after retirement are to spend more time with her family and friends, travel with Laurence and to engage in landscaping and gardening. It is rumored that she may even return to the golf course (Fore!)  Of course, cooking, entertaining and charitable endeavors will always be part of the plans!

Thank you Susan for being a pillar of FCS!  Your dedication to excellent client service and passion for building client relationships will truly be missed.  We wish you a happy retirement!

There's more where that came from.
