This summer, Bob Freeman, Private Wealth Advisor at FCS (pictured on the right) participated alongside his team of Henry’s Heroes in the Great Strides walk for Cystic Fibrosis.  The Kansas City chapter raised nearly $200,000 in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

 Great Strides, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest national fundraising event offers hope to those living with Cystic Fibrosis. Each year, approximately 125,000 people participate in nearly 300 walks across the country to support the Foundation’s mission to cure Cystic Fibrosis and raise awareness about this rare, genetic, life-shortening disease that makes it difficult to breathe.  Working alongside the CF community, the CF Foundation has helped advance the development of more than a dozen CF treatments, and added decades of life for those with CF.  Thanks to this work, the life expectancy of someone born with CF has doubled in the last 30 years.
