Native of Independence Missouri, Greg received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Missouri State University in 1981. He received his Masters of Legal Studies from the Washington University School of Law, 2021.
Greg is a former Corporate Board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City, and former Board of Governors Missouri State University, Springfield MO. Married to Jennifer Spears, 5 children, 4 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, resides in Pleasant Hill on the family farm.
Experience
Began his career in 1982 with Smith Barney Capital Markets based in Kansas City as a Fixed Income Financial Institution specialist. Joined the Walton Bank Group, now Arvest Banks in 1985 to implement and establish a bank broker dealer to serve the bank group in Northwest Arkansas. Moved home to Kansas City joining Merrill Lynch as a district sales manager in 1990. Has held various leadership roles with major U.S. financial institutions, managing local branches, multi branch office complex, and major markets. Previously Managing Director - Kansas Market Leader for Wells Fargo Advisors serving the greater Kansas City area and State of Kansas. 14 branch offices, 200 team members, 11 billion assets under management.
