Lauren Moran is a Senior Investment Officer with more than 15 years of industry experience spanning institutional investing, equity research, portfolio management, and comprehensive wealth advisory. At FCS Family Office, she plays a key role in shaping and executing the firm’s investment program, contributing research‑driven insights and portfolio guidance. She partners with individuals and families to build thoughtful investment strategies designed to help them preserve, grow, and transfer wealth across generations.

Lauren began her career in 2009 with internships at UBS Wealth Management (The Freeman Group), The Vatican Bank, and Credit Suisse, before joining Credit Suisse full time in July 2011. She started in Equity Sales & Trading as a trader and specialist in international equity markets. She later joined the Equity Research department, covering small- and mid-cap public companies before focusing on the U.S. retail sector.

Lauren joined William Blair’s Investment Management group in 2014 as an equity investor, conducting bottom-up fundamental research and managing investments across the domestic equity strategies. She transitioned to William Blair’s Family Office group in 2020, where she advised ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families on investment management, portfolio construction, and long-term wealth planning. During this time, her group (GreenBridge) was recognized as a Barron’s Top 250 Private Wealth Management Team (2024-2025)1 and a Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Management Team (2023-2025)2. Her experience on both the institutional investment and private wealth side of the industry allows her to bring a disciplined, research-driven perspective to every client relationship.

Lauren earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2015 and is an active member of the CFA Society Kansas City and 100 Women in Finance. She also supports multiple University of Notre Dame programs that help undergraduate students strengthen their financial literacy and navigate career paths in investment management.

After relocating from Chicago back to her hometown of Kansas City, Lauren joined FCS Family Office in 2026. She and her husband, Brendan, have three young children and are excited to be back in the community once again.
