Vice President – Financial Advisor, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™

About

You may be familiar with the saying "It's not personal; it's just business". Susan believes that few things in life are more personal than the ability to provide for one's family and recognizes that for many, a secure retirement is the culmination of a lifetime of discipline, choices, and often of sacrifice.

It is the personal relationships that inspire Susan the most, and she has grown her practice by working closely with her clients to really understand the purpose of their wealth. It's a unique journey for each person and how we feel about our wealth is strongly influenced by our personal experiences. Earning the trust of each client to help safeguard their lifetime of savings and to plan for all of life's transitions is of paramount importance to Susan.

She and her husband, Laurence, count their two grown children as the joy of their lives, and are adjusting to their "empty nest" reality. When she is not working, Susan enjoys reading, cooking, entertaining and being outside whenever possible!

Experience

Susan personifies work ethic and a commitment to helping others become successful. She credits her experience at Twentieth Century Investors – now American Century – as being particularly influential to her own success. Rising from an entry level employee in 1991 to Director of Technology Service, Susan played a key role in the company's Y2K planning and Business Continuity implementation following the events of September 11, 2001. Along the way, Susan was recognized firm wide for her leadership, financial success and for working with honor and integrity. These are core principles for Susan that hold true today. Susan joined Tom Freeman's team at UBS Financial Services in 2011 and has enjoyed the opportunity to be of service to their clients.
